VPN Gate Viewer 9.5.2

VPN Gate Viewer is a free application that quickly lists compatible servers by country from the "VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers" list (https://www.vpngate.net/) and its mirror sites. It also assists in configuring OpenVPN or L2TP/IPsec VPN client settings.

This application offers enhanced usability when OpenVPN (https://itunes.apple.com/jp/app/id590379981) is already installed.

• Disclaimer: Please note that due to VPN Gate's specification changes, this application may not work. It does not guarantee the availability of VPN Gate, OpenVPN, the presence of OpenVPN configuration files, or a secure VPN connection.
• Important: Since almost all VPN servers are run by volunteers, connectivity issues may arise. Please be aware of this before use.
• Important: We do not respond to customer reviews; for questions or requests, please use the in-app email form (we do not accept inquiries through other channels).
• Important: In the event of future iOS updates that may render OpenVPN incompatible, we recommend configuring settings using the L2TP/IPsec protocol.

The application allows filtering by protocol similar to the "VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers" list page. It also enables specifying a preferred country or region at the top of the list.

If data retrieval from the "VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers" list page fails or if the desired country's servers are not listed, you can attempt data retrieval from sub-CSV or sub-URL sources.

Tapping on a list item displays detailed information about that VPN server. Subsequently, actions can be performed as much as possible using toolbar options and protocol links:

1. If the VPN server supports L2TP/IPsec protocol, manual setup can be done through device VPN settings.
2. If the VPN server only supports OpenVPN protocol, you can select and download configuration files (.ovpn) (this may be done automatically) for use with applications supporting OpenVPN.

Upon application launch, these are available options for selection:

1. Main CSV Data: CSV data from "VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers." Choose this if using OpenVPN. Information for OpenVPN-compatible servers (including ovpn data) will be retrieved.
2. Sub-CSV Data: Cached site. Information for only OpenVPN-compatible servers (no ovpn data included; separate download required) will be retrieved.
3. Main URL: Server information obtained from the HTML source on "VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers," including protocols other than OpenVPN.
4. Sub-URL: Cached site. Servers supporting protocols other than OpenVPN are included.
5. Mirror Site: Mirror site options are available but may take longer to retrieve data.

• If primarily using OpenVPN, it's recommended to retrieve data from Main CSV Data; for L2TP/IPsec usage, obtaining data from Main URL is suggested.
• The data obtained is cached based on request origin IP address and time. Reloading does not immediately provide new server IPs.
• If you wish to try different server information after establishing a VPN connection through sub-CSV or sub-URL data retrieval, switch to Main CSV or Main URL data retrieval.

This application can be launched via URL scheme vgv://.
